Fall Basketball 2010...registration begins 8/23/2010...

The Girls Inc. basketball league is a recreational league focused on helping girls improve their skills while having fun and becoming strong, smart and bold through participation in sports. The season begins with practices in September and games in October, and requires a two-evening per week commitment. The season runs until mid-December and concludes with a banquet.

LEAGUES: 6 to 8 year olds, 9 to 11 year olds, and 12 and up.

REGISTRATION: August 23rd through September 10th at Girls Inc. during business hours (10am-6pm).

COST: The league fee is $45 with a current Girls Inc. membership ($55/yr). (Mmembers can participate in Girls Inc. after school program at no additional fee.) Scholarships are available on a first come first serve basis with application.

PLAYERS' CLINIC & PARENTS' MEETING: Informational session will take place near end of registration period. Date and time to be determined.

PRACTICES: Practices take place at various MCCSC schools beginning the week of September 13th.

GAMES: Games begin September 27th and are held in the Girls Inc. gym.

TEAM PICTURES: Photos will be taken by Kirkwood Photo in October.
