- Freemasonry claims to be compatible with "Christianity," but it is not.
- Freemasonry denies that it is a religion, but it is.
- Freemasonry denies that it worships Lucifer, but it does.
- Freemasonry is derived from Satan, who is, according to Jesus, "a liar and the father of liars."
- Freemasonry is a rival religion to Christianity, and it is a Luciferian
Cult.

Freemasonry and Masonry, (commonly called "the Craft")
are interchangeable terms.
"The root problem (for Christians) in
Freemasonry, is that it is truly a form of religion that has its own creed,
religious instruction, and ritual that is Universalist in nature,
recognizing all religions equally."
This has been documented by the
Cult Awareness Ministry, Saints Alive, of Christian author Ed Decker, and
many other Christian authors, especially former Masons, during the 18th,
19th and 20th centuries. Among those who have denounced Freemasonry and
openly taken a stand against it are:
John Wesley, Alexander Campbell,
Daniel Webster, Wendell Phillips, Chief Justice Charles Marshall, Charles
Sumner, John Hancock, Horace Greeley, Dwight L. Moody, R. A. Torrey, Timothy
Dwight, Charles Finney, Charles Blanchard, John Adams, John Quincy Adams,
John Madison, Amos Wells, Simon Peter Long, James M. Gray, Billy Sunday,
John R. Rice and Ulysses S. Grant.
"Participating in Masonry must
surely separate its real Christian members from full service to Christ, as
well as "yoking them unevenly with nonbelievers in Christ,"which the Bible
forbids in 2 Corinthians: 6:14-18:
- "Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have
righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
- Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in
common with an unbeliever?
- Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the
temple of the living God; just as God said, "I will dwell in them and
walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
- "Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,"
says the
Lord. "and do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.
- "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters
to Me," Says the Lord Almighty.
Ed Decker, founder and
international director of "Saints Alive In Jesus", a ministry to members of
cult groups, in What You Need To Know About Masons, continues: "When
a father and a husband bows his knee at an altar where Baal and Zoroaster
are given equal recognition and power to that given to the God of Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob, in a lodge where the precious name of Jesus Christ is
specifically removed and forbidden so as "not to offend non-Christian
members," that father and husband has bowed his knee to Baal, in idolatrous
and false worship, and his family and his church will reap the fruit of that
submission, for through him these evil spiritual entities gain legal
access."
In defiance of the first of the Ten Commandments in Exodus
20:3, which states: "Thou shalt have no other Gods before (or
beside) me," Masonic rites and rituals venerate all of the pagan
gods of the Mystery Religions that originated in ancient Babylon. The
knowledge of these gods then spread out over all the earth when God
dispursed all those who had chosen apostasy at the tower of
Babel.
Freemasonry's gods include: Baal, Marduk, Jupiter, Orion,
Hermes, Proetheus, Zeus, Thor, Apollo, Hercules, Bacchus, Osiris-the
Egyptian God of the dead, Adonis, and Mithra-the Roman Sun God. These are
all idols, false gods that are worshipped by Occultists, Satanists,
Witchcraft and Masons! Statues of them can be found in Masonic Lodges around
the world, and their names are invoked in official rites and
rituals.
The late Dr. Walter Martin, world renown authority on
comparative religion and author of the Christian classic: The Kingdom of
the Cults, during a debate with a self professed "Christian Mason," on
"The John Ankerberg Show," referred to Masonry as "Metaphysical
Satanism."
Dr. Martin also stated of Masonry that he strenuously
objected to the paganism within it. Upon visiting the Masonic Temple in Los
Angeles, he found there a statue of Moses, a statue of Zoroaster, one of
Osiris, and statues of many Egyptian gods and goddesses. His objection was
that "when you put Moses, a representative of the God of the Bible, in the
midst of the pagan world, which God judged for its evil, condemning them as
vile, depraved, and wicked, then you have gone beyond 'just symbols', and
are playing with dangerous spiritual fire."
"As a Christian, this is
totally incongruent with 2nd Corinthians: 'Come out from among them and be
separate, saith the Lord, "and I will be your God and you will be my
people.'"
Freemasonry teaches that "in all religions there is a basis
of truth; in all there is pure morality." Masonry teaches that it has the
mission of bringing together "all men of all religions," under the Masonic
banner and around the Masonic altar. This was the identical goal of ancient
Babylon at the Tower of Babel and the current goal of the New Age
movement.
1 Samuel: 15:22-23: "And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as
great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of
the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the
fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is
as iniquity and idolatry."
Freemasonry substitutes a false gospel of
"good works", and salvation through an individual's own effort, instead of
the true gospel of Jesus Christ, as recorded in the Bible in Romans 6:23, in
which God says: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." "Christian" Freemasons are giving
their time and energy to Freemasonry, an organization where, behind the
facade of service and charity to the community, knowingly at the highest
degrees, and perhaps unknowingly to those in the lower degrees, all members
are serving in Satan's Camp. By doing so they deny Jesus Christ the glory He
would receive in the eyes of the world, if their charitable works were done
through His Church and in His Name, and the purpose of the Church is 1) to
worship God and 2) to glorify His name.
It is not possible to glorify
God when working in the Masonic Lodge, as the Name of Jesus Christ is not
allowed to be used in prayer and even when Bible verses are quoted in
rituals, the name of Jesus is routinely omitted, in disobedience to God, for
in Revelation 22:19, God proclaims: "and if anyone takes away from the words
of the book of this prophecy, "God" shall take away his part from the "Book
of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this
book."
William Schnoebelen, former Witch and Satanist, and former
32nd degree Mason, in Masonry; Beyond The Light equates Freemasonry
with Witchcraft. In a chapter called "The Witchcraft Connection," he lists
the following occultists, witches and sorcerers who have all been
high ranking Freemasons during the past century:
- Arthur Edward Waite-occult writer, [black magician] and Masonic
historian who wrote an "Encyclopaedia of Freemasonry."
- Dr. Wynn Westcott-member of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia and
founding member of the occult Order of the Golden Dawn whose members
introduced "Tantric" perverted ritualistic sex to western society as
worship.
- S. L. MacGregor Mathers-co-founder of the occultic Golden Dawn.
- Aleister Crowley-master satanist of this century who was pursued in
letters by pseudo-scientist Afred Kinsey for his "sexual experiences," and
who founded the anti-Christ religion, Thelema. He used children in
perverted sexual rituals and advocated human sacrifice.
- Dr. Gerard Encausse-(Papus) masterful author, teacher of the Tarot and
leader of the occult Martinistes society
- Dr. Theodore Reuss-head of the O.T.O., a German occult satanic society
which made Aleister Crowley its head for the British Isles
- George Pickingill-the master warlock (male witch) of 19th century
England, leader of the "Pickingill covens"
- Annie Besant-leader of the occult Theosophical society and co-Masonic
hierarch
- Alice Bailey-founder of the occultic New Age, Lucis (formerly Lucifer)
Trust and author of The Externalization of the Hierarchy" which
foretells the "New Age" or New World Order" naming 1)Freemasonry, 2)the
public School System, and 3)the mainline visible apostate "Christian"
church as the three organizations through which the New World Order will
insidiously infiltrate the world's society as a Trojan horse - from the
inside.
- Bishop C. W. Leadbetter-Theosophist, mentor to the failed New Age
"Christ", Krishnamurti, and prelate in the occult Liberal Catholic Church
- Manly P. Hall-Rosicrucian adept, author of popular Freemasonry
manuals, founder of the Philosophical Research Society
- Gerald B. Gardner- British founder and practitioner of the modern
Wiccan (white Witchcraft) revival.
- Alex Sanders-self-styled "King of the Witches" in London and one of
the most influential leaders of Wicca (witchcraft) after Gardner.
Freemasonry welcomed all of these powerful occultists and
sorcerers into its highest ranks; Bill Schnoebelen asks: "should a Christian
desire to be a member of such an organization?"
"Be ye not unequally
yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" II
Corinthians 6:14
In The Dark Side of Freemasonry, Ed Decker
describes how, a few years after he became a Christian, he had delivered a
message against the cult of Mormonism in a Baptist Church and was accosted
by an elderly member of the church board who told him in great stress that
"You better stop doing this. You are sharing secrets that only Masons are
supposed to know."
Mr. Decker had revealed information about the
secret Mormon temple oaths, the symbolism, signs and tokens, and the apron
that Lucifer wore - as the Mormons, who teach that Lucifer is the brother of
Jesus, have the Mormon instructor portray Lucifer in part of the Mormon
temple ritual wearing an apron identical to the lambskin apron all Masons
receive and treasure.
When Masons receive their lambskin apron, they
are told it will be their covering at the "Great White Throne judgement,"
when, after their death, they face God. For any Christian to accept this lie
is preposterous, for the Bible says in Revelation, 20th chapter, that the
"Great White Throne judgement" is the 2nd judgement, the judgement of the
unsaved only - those who will all be thrown into the lake of fire for
eternity - and no Christian should expect to be there, with or without a
lambskin apron!
Galatians 3:27: "For all of you who were baptized
into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ."
The only "covering"
God will accept is the blood of Jesus Christ, which covers the sins of every
Christian. For Freemasonry to claim that wearing a lambskin apron will
somehow win the approval of God denies the Word of God and is the sin of
Cain, to try to substitute their own righteousness for that which God
provides.
Mr. Decker, a former Mormon, who had never been a Mason
informed the gentleman that he had no idea what he was talking about. The
old gentleman then proceeded to explain to him that the Mormon temple
rituals are based on Masonic ritual secrets, because Joseph Smith, the
founder of Mormonism was a Mason and had broken his blood oath to never
reveal Masonic secrets by using their secret symbols, names and rituals in
his own new religion, Mormonism.
Joseph Smith's brother Hiram was
also a Mason, and also the first five presidents of the Mormon church were
Masons. The mob that murdered Joseph Smith in Nauvoo, Illinois, the site of
one of the largest Masonic lodges in the United States at that time,
consisting of over fourteen hundred members in one lodge, is believed to
have been composed of Masons who were murdering him in obedience to their
own secret Masonic blood oaths to take the life of any fellow member who
betrayed their secrets.
The church elder then threatened Mr. Decker
that unless he stopped talking about these things, he was going to get hurt,
because "If you're saying that the Mormons are Satanic, what are you saying
about Masonry?" To this, Mr. Decker replied that "if Masonry is based on the
same rituals and blood oaths as Mormonism, it is from the same Pit of
Hell!"
Only to the one fifth of Master Masons who elect to be exalted
to the Holy Royal Arch degree of Masonry, is the Masonic "lost word", or the
name of the God of Masonry revealed. At this time, they are told that
contrary to everything they have previously been told about Masonry's god:
TGAOTU (The Great Architect of the Universe) or "The All Seeing Eye," they
are now no longer free to believe in a generic term for God , according to
their own personal creed, or religion, but Freemasonry's chief god is now
revealed to them as Jah-Bul-On. This is an idolatrous, unholy and
counterfeit trinity composed of these three deities:
1) Jahweh, the
Old Testament or Jewish Tanakh name for Almighty God;
2) Baal, the
Caananite fertility god and Sun god, whose worship God forbid throughout
Scripture; and
3) Osiris, the Egyptian god of the dead.
To any
Christian, this is idolatry, and to the God of Christianity, the God of the
Holy Bible, it is an abomination!
Masonry is contrary to the first
three of the ten commandments, and denies Christ, our "Lord of Lords and
King of Kings" as "The only name by which we must be saved."
This is
the problem of the Lodge for Christians, and for anyone seeking to find and
please the one true God of the Universe, the God of the Bible. This
idolatrous sin of the fathers, when they have literally bent their knee to
Baal at the Masonic altar, during Masonic rituals, can wreck spiritual havoc
in the lives of Masonic families, and in churches where Masons are in
leadership, hindering, limiting and blinding, because every Master Mason has
officially become a "Priest of Baal," opening the door to Satan, the
adversary.
Only through sincere prayer, asking God that the cleansing
blood of Jesus Christ be applied to these occultic spiritual soul ties that
allow Satan access, can they be broken, and through renouncing membership in
Masonry by submitting in writing, a "demit" to the lodge, can an individual
member and his family be set free from bondage and
oppression.
Although such ties cannot destroy the salvation of a
Christian, they do allow Satan to make his Christian walk much more
difficult. Freemasonry is ancient "Sun" worship, i.e., Baal worship, which
is, in it's spiritual reality and in it's symbolism, a fertility religion.
The spiritual fruit of the religion of Freemasonry is sexual immorality,
rebellion, alcoholism, drug abuse and perversion, and having that spiritual
influence brought into the home, through the soul ties of the head of the
household, can create havoc in the lives of children, especially adolescent
children, for the sin of idolatry is visited upon the children to the 3rd
and 4th generation.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast
rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no
priest to me:
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will
also forget thy children."
Hosea 4:6
No Room In The Inn
According to Jim Shaw, former
33rd degree Mason, who officially resigned from Masonry, after becoming a
Christian and studying the Bible, as he wrote in Deadly Deception:
"there is underlying all Masonic thinking and writing, an attitude and
spirit of elitism which says, "Masonry is not for everyone, just for the
select few." At the same time Masonry teaches it is the only true religion
and that all other religions are but corrupted and perverted forms of
Masonry.
This is both elitist and contradictory, in that it leaves no
hope for the non-elite to ever be able to find the "true religion."
Freemasonry proudly proclaims it makes good men better; but this leaves no
provision for bad men to ever be able to become good."
He continues:
"It is significant, I think, that those whom Masonry rejects and excludes
are the very ones Jesus sought out to accept and minister to:
- The Lodge excludes and rejects the blind, for they cannot see to
engage in the signs and due-guards;
- it rejects the crippled and maimed, for they cannot assume the body
positions necessary for the signs and due-guards.
- The deaf are excluded because they cannot hear the "secret" words.
- The poor are excluded, for they cannot pay the fees and dues.
- The mentally challenged are rejected because they cannot memorize the
correct questions and answers to be recited in rituals in order to
function in the Lodge.
- The emotionally ill are rejected because they cannot be trusted with
the "secrets."
Historically, blacks and women have been excluded
simply because they are considered unsuitable."
"Jesus, on the
other hand proclaims that "whosoever will, may come" and receive His gift
of redemption and that all may "take the water of life freely" (Rev.
22:17). He especially reached out to the blind, the crippled, the mentally
challenged and mentally ill, the poor and the unwanted - the very ones
Masonry excludes and rejects (as unworthy)."
In the lecture
awarding the "32nd degree," which is the highest earned degree in
Freemasonry, as the 33rd degree is honorary, the initiate is informed:
"You have reached the mountain peak of Masonic instruction - a peak
covered with mist, which YOU in search for further light can penetrate
only by your own efforts, as did Pythagoras." Pythagoras was a 5th century
B.C. occultist and mathematician, who believed in the transmigration of
the soul or reincarnation.
Having achieved the final highest degree
of Freemasonry, after many months, or sometimes years of memorization, and
much money in fees paid for each degree, as these degrees are definitely
not free of charge, one finds that instead of the light (truth) that has
been consistently promised him, he is now "cut loose," i.e., told that he
must continue on his own, through his own efforts, if he is ever to find
total spiritual light.
In contrast to Masonry's inability to
deliver spiritual enlightenment, all who sincerely seek truth and light in
Jesus Christ, who declared Himself to be Truth and Light, are promised
that they will receive it. Jesus is the beginning and the end of the
search, for all those who come unto Him seeking life, meaning and
understanding, He fulfills. God, who cannot lie, guarantees that if we
call upon Him, in the name of Jesus, we will never be disappointed or
ashamed. Romans 10:4: "For Christ is the end (fulfillment) of the law for
righteousness to everyone that believeth."
Jesus Forbid the Bloody
Pagan Oaths That Are Required of All Members of Freemasonry
In
Matthew 5:34-37, He said "But I say to you, make no oath at all either by
heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is the
footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the grat
King. "Nor shall you make an oath on your head for you cannot make one
hair white or black, "But let your statement be, 'Yes, yes' or 'No, no',
and anything beyond these is of evil."
The oath of the 1st degree
of Masonry, that of an Entered Apprentice, concludes with: "...binding
myself under no less penalty than that of having my throat cut from ear to
ear, my tongue torn out by its roots and buried in the rough sands of the
sea at low-water mark where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty-four
hours, should I ever knowingly or willingly violate this my solemn oath
and obligation as an Entered Apprentice Mason, so help me God."
The
oath for the 2nd degree of Masonry, that of Fellow Craft, ends as follows:
"...binding myself under no less penalty than having my left breast torn
open, my heart plucked out, and given as a prey to the wild beasts of the
field and the fowls of the air, so help me God..."
The 3rd degree
oath, to become a Master Mason, is: "...having my body severed in twain,
my bowels taken from thence and burned to ashes, the ashes scattered to
the four winds of heaven, so that no more trace or remembrance may be had
of so vile and perjured wretch as I..."
The oath to become a Knight
of Malta (after taking in hand the upper part of a human skull containing
wine): "This pure wine I now take in testimony of my belief in the
mortality of the body and the immortality of the soul and may this
libation appear as a witness against me both here and hereafter - and as
the sins of the world were laid upon the head of the Savior, so may all
the sins committed by the person whose skull this was be heaped upon my
head, in addition to my own, should I ever knowingly or willingly violate
or transgress any obligation that I have heretofore taken, take at this
time, or shall at any future period take in relation to any degree of
Masonry or order of Knighthood. So help me God."
The 10th degree of
the Scottish Rite concludes: "...and in failure of this my obligation, I
consent to have my body opened perpendicularly, and to be exposed for
eight hours in the open air, that the venomous flies may eat of my
entrails, my head to be cut off and put on the highest pinnacle of the
world and I will always be ready to inflict the same punishment on those
who shall disclose this degree and break this obligation..."
The
oath of the Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S. (Shriners) concludes as follows: "...in
willful violation whereof I may incur the fearful penalty of having my
eyeballs pierced to the center with a three-edged blade, my feet flayed
and I will be forced to walk the hot sands upon the sterile shores of the
Red Sea, until the flaming sun shall strike me with livid plague, and may
Allah the God of Arab, Muslim and Mohammedan, the God of our fathers
support me to the entire fulfillment of the same, Amen, Amen,
Amen."
All Shriners receive, as one of their most prized
possessions a red "fez" felt headdress, which they wear to their meetings
and events as a badge of honor, ignorant of its' historical origin. The
traditional red "fez" originated in the city of Fez, a city in Northern
Morocco many centuries ago, when a Muslim army slaughtered the entire
Christian population of Fez. The blood from hundreds of slaughtered
Christians ran in the streets, and victorious muslims dipped their
headdresses in the blood as a symbol of victory. For "Christian" Mason
Shriners to wear these red Fez hats is an afront to God and to the memory
of those martyred Christians.
Each of the above pagan Masonic
oaths, except the shriners, which is sworn to Allah, the God of the
Qu'ran, and of Muslims, conclude with the words, 'So help me God.' For a
Christian to call upon God as a witness to these evil barbaric oaths, as
he is voluntarily binding himself to a spirit of fear by agreeing to be
murdered by his lodge brothers, or to mutilate and murder any Masonic
brother who reveals Masonic secrets, is an incredibly sad and spiritually
blind deed, and an abomination to God.
Jesus said in Matthew 10:28:
"And fear not them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in
hell."
In 2 Timothy 1:7, the Holy Spirit, writing through Paul
tells us: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind."
Jesus said in John 18:20: "I spoke
openly to the world' I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple,
...and in secret have I said nothing."
Luke 12:3 Jesus said, "But
there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed and hidden that will
not be known. Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark shall be
heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms shall
be proclaimed from the housetops."
Albert Pike (1809-1891), author
of Morals and Dogma, is looked upon today as the foremost literary genius
of Masonry. He rewrote all Scottish Rite rituals practised today. These
rituals are pagan and occultic in design. Mr. Pike was an admitted
worshipper of Lucifer, believing that two coequal Gods exist in the
universe, Lucifer, the God of good and light and Adonay, the Christian
god, who rules evil and darkness.
In Morals and Dogma, Pike
declares that Masonry has inherited and currently practices the same
occultic Mystery religion, as was practised in Babylon."
Masonic Symbolism's Foundation Of Phallic Worship Blasphemes
God
The true meaning of Masonic symbols and thus, the true
meaning of Masonry itself is known only by the Prince Adepts of Masonry,
they (Albert Pike, Albert Mackey, J.D. Buck, Daniel Sickles,etc., teach us
that Masonry is a revival of the Ancient Mysteries, the Mystery Religions
of Babylon, Egypt, Persia, Rome and Greece, and the Druids, in summary,
the "Old Religion."
Because very few Masons bother to investigate
the contents of their Masonic Lodge Libraries, they remain ignorant of the
evil and perverted meanings of their symbols and rituals, as taught in
Masonry's Higher Degrees.
Albert G. Mackey, a 33rd degree Mason,
who spent thirty five years interpreting the degrees of Freemasonry, and
author of an Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, wrote that it was right and
necessary to lie to Blue Degree initiates. He said, "He is intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is not intended that he
shall understand, but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands.
True understanding is reserved for the Adepts, the Princes of Masonry."
Thus, Masonry's definition of truth originated with Satan in the garden of
Eden.
Hosea 4:6: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." A
Mason is told in the first degree, that the meaning of the square is to
square our actions; the compasses, to circumscribe and keep us within the
bounds of all mankind, but more especially with a brother
Mason.
Albert Mackey's definitive Encyclopedia of Freemasonry,
however reveals that the Square and Compasses are related to the "point
within the circle," which he calls "an important and beautiful alstruse
allusion to the old sun worship, introducing that adaptation of sun
worship known among the ancients, as the worship of the
phallus.
Mackey continues: "The phallus was a sculptured
representation of the male organ of generation, and its worship in the
ancient Mystery Religion, was adopted by the sun worshippers of old, and
incorporated into the symbolism of Freemasonry.
The central symbols
of Freemasonry, therefore, represent the human reproductive organs! In
esoteric Freemasonry, the square is the symbol of the lingam (godforce in
Witchcraft) and the compasses are the symbol of the female organs, called
the yoni or shakti (goddess force) by Occultists.
The Christian
Mason is attending Lodge, and worshipping at an altar with symbols of the
male and female organs entwined over an open Bible!
"Another Gospel" Is Legitimized By The Participation Of Christians
In Masonry
Famous Christian evangelist and author, Dr.
John R. Rice, describes his experience with Masonry, as a young man. He
was invited, by several very respected men in his church, to join the
local chapter of the Masonic Lodge. The night of his inititation, he could
not believe the horror of the obscene oath he was expected to repeat. He
had the courage to denouce the entire proceedings and to walk out and
never return.
Luke 8:21 "But he [Jesus] said to them in answer, ...
my brothers are those who have knowledge of the word of God and do
it."
With great sadness, Dr. Rice tells of the Lodge Members he has
known, who were blinded to their need for a "Saviour for forgiveness of

Colossians 2:8: "See to it that no one takes you captive
